The CIO team has negotiated a discounted hotel rate of $335.00 per night (plus $32 resort fee per night and applicable taxes) for your stay at The Broadmoor. All reservations must be made by Friday, July 7, 2017 to receive the group rate.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM COLORADO SPRINGS AIRPORT
(Approximately 15 minutes from hotel)

  • Head west onto the Milton E. Proby Parkway
  • Continue onto Drennan Road
  • Turn left onto S. Academy Blvd.
  • After 1.1 miles, take the ramp onto US-85
  • Turn left onto US-85 N/US-87 N
  • After 3.2 miles, turn left onto Lake Avenue
  • Continue straight through 3 traffic circles to reach the main gate to  The Broadmoor

DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
(Approximately 90 minutes from hotel)

  • Exit the airport on Pena Blvd.
  • Follow Pena Blvd. to Interstate 70 West
  • Stay in the right-hand lane and take the first exit, which is I-225
  • Follow I-225 until it intersects I-25
  • Take I-25 south to Colorado Springs
  • Continue on I-25 through Colorado Springs to exit 138, Circle Drive.
  • Turn right off the exit onto Circle Drive and follow it until it becomes  Lake Avenue, approximately 2.6 miles, to The Broadmoor.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING:

Valet parking is available to all overnight guests. The charge is $18 per night. This fee is charged directly to the guest’s room. Valet parking is also available to those guests coming in for the day to dine or shop at the Hotel. This is a complimentary, day service. Gratuities are at the guest’s discretion.

Self-parking is available in the garage only. The charge to self-park for a 24-hour period is $16 per night, with in and out privileges.

CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN ZOO

A day at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is a day like no other. Hop aboard a captivating carousel, magical train, or wild-west pony. Take the chairlift-style Sky Ride soaring above the Zoo. Or visit the walk-through aviary where birds will eat right from your hand. There’s even a Loft where you can come face-to-face with small animals that, live on the edge of the wild. Let the zoo take you wherever your imagination roams!

PIKE’S PEAK COG RAILWAY

Take a ride into the clouds! For 115 years, the Manitou and Pike’s Peak Railway (the world’s highest cog railroad, the highest Colorado railroad AND highest train in the United States) has taken passengers to the 14,110 foot summit of Pikes Peak.

The 8.9 mile long excursion takes 3 hours and 10 minutes round trip, including 30 – 40 minutes on the summit.

SEVEN FALLS

Five minutes from the BROADMOOR, Seven Falls is a series of seven cascading waterfalls. The sum of the height of the seven falls is 181 feet and there are a total of 224 steps on the staircase from the base of the falls to the peak. In the evenings, enjoy the view when the entire canyon is illuminated in a veil of light.


GARDEN OF THE GODS

This Registered Natural National Landmark of breathtaking scenery is the # 1 visited attraction in the Pike’s Peak region, and offers views, exhibits of museum quality and American Indian dancing demonstrations. Learn the history of the Park and the Pikes Peak region of Colorado, and find out ‘how those red rocks got there!’ You haven’t “ascended” to the pinnacle of these rock spires until you’ve seen their theater presentation which dramatically captures the origin of the rock formations, the beauty of the Park landscape and the account of its people. See it in person and you’ll be amazed by their size, the breathtaking views and the historic landscape.
